The following are links to organizations in our community that provide support to families and children.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters - promotes the growth and development of at-risk children and youth in Clarington through a variety of mentoring programs with positive adult role models.

Durham Children's Aid Society - protects children and promotes their best interests through the provision of services under the Mandate of the Child and Family Services Act.

Kinark Child and Family Services - is a children's mental health organization that provides help to children, youth, families and communities.

St. Vincent De Paul Store - Bowmanville is a thrift store dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate.

Partners As Partners - Everyone benefits when parents are involved in their child’s education. TeachOntario wants to help. From curriculum supports to resources on well-being, we’ve re-organized our Parents as Partners content according to the specific needs of early, primary, junior, intermediate and secondary learners. These are resources you can share with your students’ parents and caregivers. Over the next months, we’ll continue to add to the resources. Let us know what you think.

Ontario Child Health Study - Our community is one of 180 communities across the province which has been selected for the 2014 Ontario Child Health Study. Participating in this study, if asked to do so, is an important opportunity to help children and youth in Ontario.
